To let everyone know who uses Foodhub ( owned by Touch2Success ), the online takeaway ordering portal ( FoodHub ( Touch2success ) ), gives moderation of the reviews that you leave on there, to the takeaways! This means, that although you leave a review for them, it doesn't get published until the takeaway has approved it ( bad on FoodHub ( Touch2success ) ). This may means that certain negative reviews could be left in moderation, which then means the star rating is higher than it should be and you as a customer, are then looking at a majority of positive reviews, which means you are more likely to place an order. A definite win for the takeaway!


Having messaged Foodhub via live chat (which is another subject altogether......put it this way, we had to go through automated processes, to get to a live person) they confirmed that the reviews are moderated by the takeaways. They did say that the reviews would get published (we had a review that hasn't and was written about a month ago).....We were asked if we had contacted the takeaway....our response "Shouldn't need to, as it should be an independent review system, not moderated by the takeaway.". They confirmed that the feedback (review) is sent to the management of the takeaway so they can take measures to improve the situation......our response "Yes, and they can see the reviews, by looking at the reviews that are there and respond accordingly". They also said that they have made a note of our feedback and will implement a better and more refined review system.

If you are looking for reviews of any takeaway that are on Foodhub, we'd suggest that you take a look on either TripAdvisor or Google (search google 'takeaway name' reviews - e.g. Tandoori Tonight reviews) as they publish every review, usually within a day, if not instantly and it should give a true reflection of the takeaway. As a side note: it doesn't seem that the reviews are in a normal order either.....most sites who have a reviews section are in chronological order with the latest review showing first?!

This website will be live until Foodhub ( Touch2Success ) has implemented what they say they will and we hope that's where the reviews are published automatically and the takeaway can respond accordingly (also some chronological order to the reviews too!)

In addition to the above: we have read on their Facebook page that they don't give refunds, as they expect you to take it up with the takeaways directly. It seems that also the app shows takeaways as open even though they aren't open!
